David Clinkscales-  Senior/Jr High Associate

Rebeca and I are absolutely thrilled to be at Lakeside Christian Church! Between the two of us - Rebeca from Romania and me a Texan - we have been all over the world and God has brought us to Southern California to work with the youth group and the entire church body. I grew up in the church, spent some time doing life my way, and realized that no fuller life can be found than life in Christ and with the support group of His bride. That is really, what gave me a passion for working with youth in early college because I know, first hand, the powerful draw of life on your own.  I look forward to working with the youth here at LCC.

The bullet points are that I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, spending time with my wife and friends, cooking & eating, watching movies, writing, reading, playing sports (especially soccer & football) when the opportunities arise, all forms of skiing, and a couple things I’m not going to let out just yet… how’s that for a cliffhanger? Oh yes, I also enjoy surprises… perhaps too much, and much to Rebeca’s chagrin.

Elmer Jenkins - Pastoral Care Minister

Elmer is one of the founders of LCC and a veteran church planter in the San Diego area.  We are so blessed to have he and his wife, Marilyn here and partnering in ministry with us.
