Women’s ministry is at work g lorifying God by helping all Women become like Jesus. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the love and surrendered hearts we:
Proclaim the Message of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection by presenting Bible study all through out the year and devotionals at all events or gatherings. These studies are open to all women, in the church and out. Watch for our advertisements in the local newspaper and on Precepts web site as well as LCC’s website and posters placed through out the community of Lakeside and local Bible Book stores.
Examples of some past studies are: Inductive Studies covering 1 & 2 Peter, Titus, all of Genesis, 1&2 Timothy, Ruth, Joshua, 1&2 Corinthians, Ephesians, Philippians.
Examples of Topical Studies are: “Ruth, Romance and Redemption” by David Jeremiah, “Lord I Want to Know You”, “Lord, Only You Can Change Me”, “Lord, Heal My Hurts”, “Lord Is It Warfare? Teach Me to Stand”, “Lord, I Need Grace to Make It”, “Lord, Teach Me to Pray in 28 Days”, all by Kay Arthur, “How to Pray” by Becky Terabassi and “Falling in Love with Jesus” by Dee Brestin and Kathy Troccoli, “Disciplines of a Beautiful Woman” by Anne Ortlund. Most recently “Believing God” by Beth Moore.
We offer a wide range of classes to cover all levels of study for all levels of students. Our class sizes range from 8 to 25, with members and non-members from our community always welcome. Our teachers are Shelley Thompson, Diana Hermann , Tracy Garvin and Kathy Hess. We have offered classes on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday. The Wednesday classes coincide with the Children’s classes.

2005 Women’s Ministry presented “Celebration of Marriage” for the churches of East County. Bill and Pam Farrel were the speakers and it was a real joyful event.

Tea’s and Fellowship gathering type events
“Breakfast with the Birds”, “Women’s Teas” at church and at Mrs. Burtons Tea Room and Summer’s Past.
Provide meaningful, Christ-honoring opportunities for worship, growth, and service in His Kingdom by equipping women for service in ways like
Prayers and Squares-Kathy Hess leads this ministry by women making over 200 quilts so far and teaching sewing classes to all ages.
Church Decoration- Brenda Pond leads up the decorating of the Church.
First Steps-Teri Guttman leads this Cancer Support Group for any women with cancer or knows of someone with cancer.
